School Partner: Mrs Flett's P7 class
Primary Seven at Millbank Primary School, Buckie are studying the Second World War this year with their teacher Mrs Flett. They will be working on lots of aspects connected with the war and, in particular, how it affected their home town of Buckie. This will include the stories of the Danes and Norwegians who came to the town. Over the coming months this page will be used to showcase the work that students in Mrs Flett's class created.
Recording Day: 27 November 2018
Doric & Norwegian
|
On 27 November, Primary Seven visited the recording studio at Buckie Community High School to record their phrases and words in Doric and Norwegian for Eyvind's sound installation. It was great fun, even if we were all a little nervous. The senior students at BCHS who are studying music technology were brilliant and did all the recordings for us.

Primary Seven's posters
P7's classroom wall
P7 have been on a tour around the town, looking at many of the houses and buildings associated with the refugees during the war. They took photographs and then, back in the classroom, have been researching the stories and finding out who lived where. The Gallery below shows their work.
